One Direction ‘Take Me Home’ Tour Bringing Down The Boys: ‘Too Busy’ For Zayn Malik And Just Wants To ‘Chill Somewhere Quiet,’ Louis Tomlinson Says It's 'Lonely' On The Road

One Direction has been on its "Take Me Home" tour since February of this year, and Zayn Malik says sometimes it gets too crazy for him, while Louis Tomlinson says it can get pretty lonely.

One Direction is currently in the middle of the North American leg of the "Take Me Home" tour, UnrealityTV.com reports. The US leg ends next month, and then in September Zayn, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson will head to Australia and New Zealand to continue with their shows.

According to the website, the tour has been mixed with success and chaos. The One Direction boys have been mobbed, had their hair pulled, clothes ripped, hats stolen, and phones pranked, but have also enjoyed breaking the Vevo record of most views in 24 hours for their "Best Song Ever" music video.

Zayn admitted that while he appreciates the success and love from their fans, he misses the calmer days.

"We're humbled that so many fans have bothered. It was a bit too busy for me [today.] I like to chill somewhere quiet. I get pleasure from the little things in life," Zayn said.

Louis shared similar sentiments. He told the September 2013 issue of Teen Vogue: "It could definitely be a lonely job. I wouldn't be able to do this if I were on my own."

The boys could also be lamenting the struggles of their long distance relationships. Louis' girlfriend Eleanor Calder has joined One Direction on the US leg of their tour, but will soon return to the UK to attend university while her boyfriend heads to the southern hemisphere.

Zayn is also missing his girlfriend Perrie Edwards, who is part of the UK girl group Little Mix. He allegedly flew across the pond to visit her between shows in the US, demonstrating the perks of being a world-famous singer.
