Minecon 2013 Tickets To Become Available Later Today, July 31? Mojang To Sell Passes For $99?
Today seems to be a very exciting and anticipation-filled day for Minecraft fans as there are pretty high chances that Mojang will already announce new details regarding availability of Minecon 2013 tickets.
When Mojang revealed that Minecon 2013 will be held in Orlando, Florida through a Youtube video it uploaded, the indie game developer also said to the fans to wait for the announcements regarding hotel packages and tickets later this July.
And since nothing official from Mojang was revealed yet, a lot of Minecraft fans are expecting that selling of the Minecon 2013 tickets will commence today - the last day of this month, July 31.
The official page for Minecon 2013 is still in utter white blank page but it seems that anytime soon, information about the tickets and other details for the upcoming event will already be posted in the site. The browser tab (from Google Chrome) already reads, MINECON 2013.
Furthermore, according to Minecon2013 from Twitter with 406 followers as of this writing, Minecon tickets will be sold for $99. His actual tweet says, "READ!!! Minecon tickets are $99, but if you miss tickets online then you can get tickets at the gate of minecon but for $139."
Obviously, there will be extra fees included if an interested Minecon attendee will avail of the hotel packages that will be offered as well.
There is no confirmation yet if there will be Minecon 2013 VIP tickets to be sold.
Another post from Minecon2013 (@Minecon_2013) is asking about the possibility that there will only be 4500 Minecon 2013 tickets that will be sold this year. The tweet says, (yes, the post was written in ALL CAPS) "READ!!! IN MINECON 2012 4500 TICKETS WERE SOLD AND GO SOLD OUT COULD THERE BE ONLY 4500 TICKETS THIS YEAR?"
Earlier reports claimed that Minecon 2013 venue will be at Orange County Convention Center, specifically at the West Building.
So far, the only confirmed details for Minecon 2013 are these: it will be held from November 2-3 in Orlando, Florida.
