Grand Theft Auto 5 Gameplay: Characters Based On 'Fight Club' Movie? Rumors Suggest Characters Michael And Trevor Are The Same Character, Similar To Feature In Hollywood Film

Michael and Trevor, characters features in the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto 5" video game, might be the same person, InEntertainment reports, leaving gamers wondering if the gameplay move is based on the popular Hollywood film "Fight Club."

"Although some of the theories may not be true they are still worth considering, and first up is the notion that Michael and Trevor could actually be brothers who are possibly in a witness protection scheme. While they discuss previous theories and the possibility this could be apparent, we are unsure whether they are delving too deep in order to get obtain a bigger storyline," InEntertainment writes.

"Other speculation suggests that both Michael and Trevor could actually be the same character in a similar style to that in the movie Fight Club, and this seems to be a fun idea, but even more far-fetched than we anticipated."

Rockstar's "Grand Theft Auto 5" has not yet been released but rumors and theories about gameplay continue to spread. 

And gamers waiting for the release date of Grand Theft Auto 5 are buzzing after it was revealed the game will be in stores October 10 in Japan and it will introduce the usage of dogs with the main characters, according to Famitsu, a Japanese magazine. 

The name of the dog will be Chop and users will be able to customize his collar and other accessories. 

Rockstar has not announced any specific gameplay features that relate to Michael and Trevor being the same character.
