Minecraft Xbox 360 Update: July 31 Release Date For Skin Pack 5 Add-On Revealed

4J Studios will release its Skin Pack 5 add-on for "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" and will introduce a number of skins based off characters from Ubisoft titles, Examiner reports.

The Skin Pack 5's release will also allow fans to change their in-game avatar's appearance characters from several Ubisoft series including "Assassin's Creed," "Rayman," "Splinter Cell" and "Far Cry 3."

Minecraft Xbox 360 will also crossover with Telltale's excellent The Walking Dead game this week as the latest skin pack is released, according to NowGamer, but some fans are wondering if 4J Studios is stalling its release date.

Several fans were upset the developer announced the release date for the Skin Pack 5 DLC before an official date of the TU12 patch for "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition," Examiner reports.

Some of them expressed their displeasure on the comments section of the Play XBLA website on July 27, claiming that the company is prioritizing releasing downloadable content expansions over updating the console port of "Minecraft," Examiner also reports.

Last week, 4J Studios released a glimpse of Skin Pack 5, that was expected to be released alongside the TU 12, on the Play XBLA website.

4J Studios asked fans to stop asking about the TU12 patch update for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition last Tuesday, saying they will inform gamers once the bug testing is finished.
