2NE1’s Return to KBS ‘Sketchbook’ in Four Years

The ever so popular girl group 2NE1 (CL, Dara, Bom, and Minzy) is returning to the KBS 2TV music program 'Sketchbook' for the first time in four years. On August 8 a broadcast official said 2NE1 will be participating in the 'Sketchbook' filming taking place at the KBS Shingwan Public Hall on August 27. The episode will be aired on August 30.

2NE1's full member appearing on the show is the first time in four years since July of 2009.

Last July 2NE1 released their reggae-esque song 'Falling in Love.' Until their full new album release in October, they plan to release one new song every month. For the month of August the song 'Do You Love Me' has been released, and is already at the top of the music charts. As part of their effort to get closer to their fans, the group revealed that, unlike their previous activities, they are planning to appear on various entertainment and music programs. True to their statement, they are appearing on 'Sketchbook.'

'Sketchbook' is a performance-based music program, and the multi-talented 2NE1 is planning a spectacular performance featuring strong vocals and even rap. Just as expected, they will also be performing their new song 'Do You Love Me' on stage.

Although it's only been 2 days since its release, 'Do You Love Me' is currently occupying the number 1 spot on ITunes main top singles chart in Korea and SIX foreign countries - Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

To promote their new song, 2NE1 featured on MNet's 'M! Countdown,' and they will be appearing on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on August 10 and SBS' 'Inkigayo' on August 11. You can look forward to their increased activity in the music and entertainment world in the days to come.
