The Story Behind Crayon Pop’s ‘Broken Five Cylinder Dance’

Crayon Pop shared the story behind Crayon Pop's failed 'Five Cylinder Dance.'

In a recent interview, Crayon Pop said, 'We have never messed up on stage, and that instance will be the first and last broken five cylinder you see' with a sad expression.

On July 20 Crayon Pop performed for the '2013 Poolside Party DJ DOC & 4MINUTE'  at the Walkerhill Seoul Hotel River Park outdoor pool. During their song 'Bar Bar Bar,' they messed up their choreography for their signature move, the 'five cylinder dance,' and jumped at the wrong times.

The footage swept the web dubbed the 'broken five cylinder dance.' There have been nonsense rumors that they messed up on purpose to imitate Yoo Ah In's attempt at 'Bar Bar Bar' and Kim Gu Ra's 'Gu Ra Yong Pop.'

The main culprit behind the broken five cylinder dance Choa said, 'Right before we went on stage, DJ DOC said to us, 'You know, right? You have to play. Don't perform as you used to, but actually have fun on stage. You can even say things to the audience' and gave us advice for our performance.' She continued, 'We need to listen to the music for our cue to start jumping, but at that exact moment Gum Mi yelled 'Jump!' and the mic was so loud that I missed my timing. I didn't mess up on purpose.'

Crayon Pop has been busy with their song 'Bar Bar Bar,' which has been ranking at the top of music charts. They will be busy next month releasing another new song.
