Does Kang Seung Yoon Have What It Takes to Be a ‘WINNER?’

Kang Seung Yoon is a rookie solo artist that had a successful debut with the songs, "It Rains," "Wild and Young," and "Stealer," and he will be a contestant to become part of a new boy group in YG Entertainment. Many are interested to see if he has what it takes to become the next "Winner."

The show "WIN" is gaining a lot of attention with its survival type program schedule. "WIN" will feature two teams that compete against each other for the title of "WINNER." Team A will include "Superstar K4" contestant Kang Seung Yoon and "Kpop Star" contestant Lee Seung Hoon to have a total of five members with the average age of 20. Team B will have MC Mong's "Indian Boy" 12-year old child rapper B.I and "Kpop Star" contestant Koo Joon Hee and a total of six members with the average age of 17.

The show will first air simultaneously on Mnet and tvN on August 23. It will be a survival type music program that picks the best type, who will be crowned the title "WINNER." The boy group to win will be YG's first boy group debut in 7 years since Big Bang. As such, the competition will be fierce.

Not only that, YG's G-Dragon and Taeyang will be training both teams in their battles against each other, and help produce songs and give advice to the contestants. The intro to G-Dragon's new album song "Shake Up the World" will be edited to use as the title song for "WIN."

"WIN" will air on August 23 via Mnet and tvN, and have closed captioning translations in various languages to reach viewers worldwide.
