Park Yoo Chun Takes To The High Seas

After the success of his latest drama "Missing You," Park Yoo Chun is taking his acting talent to the big screen. He has accepted a leading role in the film, "The Sea Fog," which will be produced by Boon Jong Ho, director of the current hit film "Snowpiercer."

"After long consideration, Park Yoo Chun is confirming his decision to join the cast," said a representative of his agency, C-JeS Entertainment. "They are working out the details of the contract."

It's hard to imagine that this move won't be a success as everything the singer-turned actor has done so far has been well received.

Park Yoo Chun began his singing career in 2003 as a member of the popular kpop group TVQX. He and fellow members Junsu and Jaejoong left the group in 2009 to form the successful band JYJ. He had a small role in a Japanese drama in 2010 but made his debut as a Korean actor two years later in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," a historical drama co-starring Park Min Young, Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In.
