Drake Sued $50,000 Over Jewelry: Lawsuit Claims Owl Pendant Rapper Sports, Knockoffs Of It Allegedly Made By The Singer For His Friends To Wear

Drake sued $50,000 over jewelry: A lawsuit has been filed for the rapper allegedly illegally making knockoffs of his owl pendant for his friends to wear.

The famous jewler of Baden Baden Inc. filed the lawsuit for $50,000 against Drake. Michael Raphael has sued the "Take Care" singer hired the company to make a custom diamond-studded platinum owl pendant back in January. In the lawsuit reported by TMZ, Drake paid $49,204 for the jewelry.

It was in June that Baden Baden claimed gold duplicates of the pendant started surfacing on Drake's Instagram account. Now he's being sued $50,00 over the jewelry they believe Drake made.

According to the lawsuit, Baden Baden claimed Drake took its original design, copied it, and handed out the knockoffs to his friends. Baden Baden is suing for copyright infringement, demanding unspecified damages, and asking the court to force Drake to hand over the owl copies.

On the cover of one of Drake's mixtape actually is the same design of the owl pendant that he's been sporting for a few years now.

The Canadian singer who has been nominated 13 times with one Grammy Award and/or his lawyers have yet to comment on the lawsuit or admit to making knockoffs for his buddies to wear around.
