James Spader plays Raymond "Red" Reddington on the NBC drama "The Blacklist." Spader is on the FBI's Most Wanted Fugitives list and is also a former government agent, Webpronews.com reports. After turning himself over to the FBI, Red works with FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) to help catch a terrorist.

"The Michael J. Fox Show" - 9 p.m., NBC; premieres Sept. 26

Fox makes his return to series TV as character Mike Henry, a star New York local news anchor who had to quit because of Parkinson's disease, Parade reports. Now he wants to come back to work, and his family is ready to get him out of the house. This show successfully incorporates Fox's condition "without dwelling on it," according Parade, and is effectively with everyday sort of humor. The show also stars Wendell Pierce ("The Wire") as Mike's boss, Harris, and Betsy Brandt ("Breaking Bad") as Mike's very practical wife, Annie.
