Xbox One Release Date And Price: Launches Game In Seconds? Userface Leak Video Shows Off Specs

A gamer with beta access to the Xbox One decided to upload a two-minute video of the Xbox One's new dashboard and revealed that it loads games in seconds, according to ExtremeTech.com.

"From the moment he presses the 'A' button to the time that the game actually starts is about four seconds - not bad in the least," the website writes.

"As the dashboard sports a large "Insert Disc" icon, it's safe to assume the game is running exclusively from the hard drive. While there is still room for improvement with caching solutions and solid state drives, this is a massive step forward from the sloth-like speed of the Xbox 360."

Although several videos showing the capabilities of the Xbox One controller and dashboard have been leaked before, the newest clip was the first to show off an unofficial version of the console that wasn't on display by Microsoft.

One video, seemingly shot by a Microsoft employee, shows a debug Xbox One running a beta version of the new console interface - it allows gamers to use the console's 'snap mode' to run  multiple programs simultaneously on the same screen, CVG.com reports.

Xbox Live Programming Director Larry Hryb took questions on stage at a GameStop Expo in Las Vegas and apologized for Microsoft's treatment of gamers.

"Look, at Xbox, we really care about the community," Hryb replied when asked point-blank how Microsoft would win back consumers, according to the Huffington Post.

"We're very focused on what is right for gamers. Everybody at Xbox is a gamer. It's not like we just show up, do our work and go home. We want to make this the best game system that you are going to own for the next 10 years."
