Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Is It The Nexus 5 Or Just Another LG Droid? [PHOTOS]

For several days now, tech bloggers, analysts and consumers are eyeing the supposed 'leaked' Nexus 5, during the Android 4.4 KitKat announcement. A week ago, reports predicted that this upcoming Android phone 2013 is just an ordinary LG smartphone. Now, it seems people are again thinking that it is indeed the new generation Nexus.

According to GSM Arena, PnoneScoop was able to get a snapshot of the alleged LG Nexus 5 during its FCC filing a couple of days back.

What's interesting to point out is that this phone's back resembles that of the device 'leaked' in the Google video for KitKat two weeks ago. There's only one tiny feature that is still missing - the Nexus logo.

Here are the photos:

From the looks of it, this Nexus version resembles that of the Nexus 4, including the front and sides. However, LG and Google couldn't have developed a device that would just look like this.

According to the rumor mill, the Nexus 5 will feature a 4.96" display, with possibly a 1080p resolution, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 13MP camera, and the fresh Android 4.4 KitKat version out of the box.

While  we are still hoping that this is the new generation Nexus 5 from LG, we still expect more from the build factor as well as the materials used.

And don't forget that lovely Nexus logo at the back!
