‘Loki’ Tom Hiddleston Goes Live In Twitter Q&A; Thor 2 The Dark World Actor Answers Fan Questions Online [Part 1]

"Loki" Tom Hiddleston had spent three hours with fans in cyberspace during his #TomQandA session on Sept. 12. As part of the promotion of the upcoming Marvel movie, "Thor: The Dark World," the 32-year old actor answered a few questions in Twitter among hundreds that came his way.

Starting off, he tweeted, "#TomQandA is live! Something to start us off. Filming Loki's demise in Kenneth Branagh's Thor (2011). "I could have ..."

Hiddleston had much praise for his co-actors in Thor. He said of veteran actor Anthony Hopkins who plays Odin in the movie, "Anthony Hopkins is one of the greatest actors alive. It's an incredible honour to work with him, every time. He is also full of so many wonderful stories about his time as a young actor working with Sir Laurence Olivier."

As for Chris Hemsworth who plays the title role, he remarked, "He makes me a better actor. We have such a good laugh. We trust each other. All my best scenes are with Chris."

Of course, die-hard fans of Hiddleston (and Loki) are looking forward to seeing more of the character. When asked what he thinks about the online petition for a solo "Loki" movie, he replied, "I am flattered and amazed. Really and truly. It means the world that you love the character so much."

However, he also clarified that the Thor movie "is, definitively, the only one on the slate for now. But... never say never."

Most of the questions he chose to answer were with regards to his preferences in literature. His favorite book , for instance, is Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina" as well as "Any Human Heart" by William Boyd." And at the moment, he is re-reading the Patrick Melrose novels by Edward St Aubyn which he finds "very painful, very honest and very funny."
