The HTC One Max release date was once again confirmed for October, according to the Christian Post. The release date and a new list of specs for the HTC One Max phablet were reported by GSMArena, who received the information from a Chinese source.

The source also revealed that the price of the HTC One Max will be somewhere around $800, without a contract.

The back camera will be accompanied by a fingerprint scanner underneath, according to a few new pictures that were leaked by the Chinese social network Weibo, The Christian Post reports. The user that posted the photos claims they were of a prototype model of the One Max.

The company will debut Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on the HTC One to fix some issues with the phone's camera, Tech Radar reports, according to Design & Trend.

Others specs for the phablet include a 5.9-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, and a 3,300mAh battery. It is also expected to have a 4-megapixel ultra-pixel camera on the front with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing lens. The back camera will be accompanied by LED flash, The Christian Post reports.
