Google Nexus 5 Launch: Android 4.4-Powered Smartphone To Be Released Before Oct. 31, Hinted By Case Manufacturer

If you have been one of those Android fans who just love the Nexus 4, you may have probably been waiting for the Google Nexus 5 launch date. Several weeks ago, Google almost answered that by announcing Android 4.4 KitKat, and 'accidentally' showcasing the Nexus 5 in the process. Since then, people have been on the look out for this pure Android phone.

However, it looks like the wait will finally be over, at least before October 31.

That is because SPIGEN, a case manufacturer for smartphones have announced via Amazon that it is going to release a Nexus 5 case on the said date. While this does not exactly say the release of Google's upcoming smartphone, it is just plain reasonable that a phone casing would be released once the phone is already available.

In addition, this is not the first time SPIGEN has announced a casing prior to the smartphone's actual release. A few months back, the manufacturer also announced the listing of an iPhone 5C casing even before it was announced or leaked on the Web. That was also the case a few months back when it announced the phone case for the Galaxy Note 3.

Even without the SPIGEN announcement, there are already rumors that Nexus 5 is drawing nigh to its release. Aside from the appearance in KitKat's announcement, the phone has already been spotted submitting documents to the FCC.

Let us all cross our fingers and hope Google's newest Nexus from LG would be launched sooner than later.
