Justin Bieber Tricks Fans On Instagram: Will Not Play Robin In New ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Movie, Reveals Hoax On Twitter

Justin Bieber tricked his fans with his Instagram account on Friday, when he posted a picture with a script for the new "Batman vs. Superman" movie. Justin Bieber revealed on Twitter that he is not going to be in the Batman movie as Robin.

On Friday night, the 19-year-old Canadian pop star posted a photo to his Instagram account that featured a copy of a script labeled "Batman Vs. Superman," Entertainment Weekly reports.

The script in the photo even had a "BIEBER" watermark across it. Justin Bieber captioned the Instagram photo: "#robin ??"

Batman fans went wild, after already traumatized by the news that Ben Affleck would star as Batman, which many are not too happy about.

According to Entertainment Weekly, one Batman fan declared that  "Batman would be ruined forever" if Bieber played Robin in the film.

But Batman fans can rest easy.

Earlier that day, Bieber tweeted on his Twitter account that he was "Off to do something funny...or die," Entertainment Weekly reports.

He was obviously playing a trick on fans with the hoax, and will not be playing Batman's sidekick, Robin.

"Man of Steel 2," which may or may not be called "Batman vs. Superman," is out in theaters on July 17, 2015, The Huffington Post reports. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman and star opposite Affleck.
