"Parks and Recreation" season 6 premiere takes place in London, and the promo trailer shows guest star Heidi Klum as a European mayor who will be honored at the same event as Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler.

The new season 6 promo trailer of "Parks and Recreation" takes our favorite cast to London, where Amy Poehler's character Leslie will accept an award from an international organization acknowledging women in government. Heidi Klum's character is being honored at the same "Women In Government" event as Leslie.  The hilarious encounter shows Klum's character isn't exactly on the same page with Leslie when the two discuss the difficulties of politics, the Huffington Post reports.

Klum recent told Jimmy Fallon that the role of a Danish mayor was a daunting one to take on, the website notes.

"I have to tell you, I was so nervous," Klum admitted. "There's never a cue card, or prompter or lines that I have to memorize. And then, all of a sudden they gave me these pages and I was like, terrified."

But Klum told TV Guide that she was excited to play the comedic character alongside Poehler, Fashion & Style reports.

"It's a small part, and it's funny," Klum said."I'm like, 'Everyone loves me!'" says Klum, whose character rubs Leslie the wrong way. "My town has even made a cheese statue of me."

Meanwhile, Tom (Aziz Ansari) and his hunt for the mysterious character who wants to put Rent-a-Swag out of business, while Ann (Rashida Jones) and Chris (Rob Lowe) enter a new phase in their relationship, The Huffington Post reports.

The season 6 premiere of "Parks and Recreation" is on Thursday, Sept. 26 on NBC.
