New Pokemon X And Y English Commercial Premieres: Distribution Event Featuring Sableye Announced For Japan

Pokemon X and Y is just around the corner, and a brand new English commercial has debuted for the upcoming 3DS release.

In this new commercial, it appears the phrase "I had a dream..." is the main focus, despite the fact that Nintendo is attempting to bring back "Gotta Catch 'Em All" with gottacatchemall.com.

Check out the Pokemon X and Y commercial below:

"Notice how these actors aren't little kids anymore because ages 15+ play the game. Hope Ash also changes to match the age group," writes Youtuber Jason Buenavista.

Unlike the Japanese trailers we've seen online, the English commercial mainly features CGI and actors, whereas the Japanese trailers have emphasized gameplay.

What do you think of the X and Y English commercial?

Meanwhile, Japan has announced a brand new distribution event, this time featuring a Pokemon Smash-themed Sableye.

The distribution event will run in Pokemon Centers in Japan until September 28. The Sableye will have the special moves of Octazooka and Tickle, according to Serebii.

Fortunately for international fans, the shiny Palkia event is also happening across the world as we speak!

In Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and other territories, the shiny Palkia giveaway event will last until September 26, and the shiny Giratina event will follow until the release of Pokemon X and Y on October 12.
