One Direction Isn’t Coming To The Middle East Or The UAE; It Would Be ‘Impossible’ Amid Busy Tour Schedule

One Direction is not coming to the UAE or anywhere in the Middle East this year, due to their busy and fully-booked tour schedule.

Twitter was abuzz with rumors that One Direction, made up of British boys Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, would be able to fit in a performance in the UAE in the Middle East after the Australian leg of their 'Take Me Home' tour, Albawaba Entertainment reports.

The One Direction tour was scheduled to bring the boys to perform in Melbourne on Wednesday, October 30, leaving time for a potential UAE gig that weekend as the band travels home to the UK, the website writes.

However, according to Thomas Ovesen, COO of Dubai-based Done Events, there is "no chance of a One Direction Middle East gig this year."

One Direction's heavy 2013 tour schedule is believed to be the reason behind their inability to perform in the UAE, Albawaba Entertainment reports.

Another music source said it would be "impossible" for Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, to host One Direction that weekend, since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concerts are from Thursday, October 31, to Sunday, November 3, and the bands are already announced, sans 1D.

Fans are extremely disappointed, Unreality TV reports.

A Directioner tweeted: "Selena, https://will.i.am , timbaland, ciara, rihanna, jay-z are all coming to UAE. Why can't @onedirection come?"
