Even if Zayn Malik only got engaged to his girlfriend of one year Perrie Edwards, insiders have claimed the existence of wedding plans. Apart from an exotic location, the couple is reportedly determined to tie the knot before the year ends.

Since Malik is a member of the famed One Direction, fans are wondering whether his best man will come from the British band. All five members have been insisting that no rivalry is going on because they're all best friends.

Nonetheless, twenty-year-old Niall Horan believes that he's the one who will be chosen by Malik to be his best man. Horan is already experienced when it comes to the best man department for he previously supported his older brother during his wedding day last March.

His older brother even claims that Horan is more than ready to be a best man: "Niall's excited for his best man duties. He's been writing a speech and made sure he had time off from touring for the big day."

However, Horan has another contender - Louis Tomlinson. Prior to Malik's proposal to his girlfriend, it was Tomlinson who knew his band mate's plans.

Until now, the young couple has not decided on a final wedding date. If not this year, they will reportedly be married by next summer. The main factor in deciding is One Direction's very busy schedule. Nonetheless, an insider emphasizes Malik's determination to stay together: "Zayn has been reassuring Perrie how committed he is to her and they're determined to stay strong. Zayn has assured Perrie that, when they get some time off next year, he will spare no expense to fly her to wherever he is, or he will come to her. Money is no object to him when it comes to being together."
