Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's split is official, but "Mad Men" actress January Jones is not the cause of their break up, his rep says.

"January has nothing to do with this," a source told E! News.

The source was referring to Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus calling off their engagement, just days after it was reported that Hemsworth had sent Jones a naughty text message, E! News reports.

Hemsworth's rep vehemently denied the report that Liam was cheating on Miley with January.

"We officially never comment on his personal life; however, we are breaking with tradition to set the record straight," Hemsworth's rep said. "The story of Liam Hemsworth and January Jones is entirely fabricated. There is no truth whatsoever to this tabloid fiction."

However, this was not the first time Hemsworth and Jones had been linked while he was engaged to Miley Cyrus.

The first time they started affair rumors was when they were spotted leaving an Oscars party together back in February.

But then they allegedly went their separate ways and haven't talked since.

"January and Liam have not seen each other at all since the photos that were taken in February and they have not kept in touch," a source added to E! News.

But is another woman behind the Liam and Miley split?

As we previously reported, the officials news of the end of their engagement broke on September 16, but Liam Hemsworth was already spotted kissing another woman on September 17 - literally just one day after the couple called it quits. The woman in question is Mexican singer and actress Eiza Gonzalez.
