Looks like Lindsay Lohan is getting her life together, and now reports say she has a new boyfriend, NFL player Matt Nordgren.

Lohan first met Nordgren, 30, seven years ago, People magazine reports, but only now are they being linked together as boyfriend and girlfriend. Nordgren is a former University of Texas football star who played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles, and then starred on the 2011 Bravo reality show "Most Eligible Dallas."

"We've hung out," he recently told Page Six. "But I have been a friend trying to support her for many years now."

"She's completely sober now," he added. "She's in a great place and working hard and meeting with all the right people."

While Nordgren didn't come right out and saw that he is Lindsay's new boyfriend, other sources are saying they are dating.

Lindsay Lohan, the 27-year-old star of "The Canyons" is recently out of rehab and trying to get her life together in New York City, People magazine notes.

According to Us Weekly's sources, Matt has been "a great influence on [Lindsay], and her friends and family love him."

"He's older, a successful businessman, and he has been a great friend to her. ... He's also a Christian and won't drink around her," the source added.

"He's trying to keep her sober and on the straight and narrow," the source said. "He's really good for her."

Lindsay Lohan has posted a photo to Instagram of her cuddling up next to Nordgren while out with a bunch of friends.
