Daniel Radcliffe Does Not Want To Have Nude Roles Anymore: ‘Everyone’s Going To Start Assuming I’m An Exhibitionist,” Cries The ‘Harry Potter’ Actor

Twenty-four-year-old Daniel Radcliffe has already proven his maturity when it comes to movie roles. Far from his geeky wizardly Harry Potter persona, the actor appeared nude for three films - 'Horns', 'The F Word', and 'Kill Your Darlings'. All three films were recently shown at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The young actor will again appear in the second series of the Sky Arts comedy drama, 'A Young Doctor's Notebook'. The film will revolve around a medic who works in a remote village during the Russian Revolution.

Radcliffe hints that he does not want to get naked anymore for the said film: "I think there was a discussion about possible nudity for one scene and I think my comment was, 'I got naked in three films last year, please can I not? At some point everyone's going to start assuming I'm an exhibitionist!"

During the first series of the 'Young Doctor's Notebook', Radcliff appeared in a bath with his co-star Jon Hamm. However, for the second installation, the two will not have such type of scenes. "We don't [get naked] in this series, much to everyone's disappointment," joked Radcliffe.

Nevertheless, the actor is not complaining about his previous daring roles: "People have given me the opportunity to work on really interesting things and get better. Getting to work on this material was hugely freeing."

'Harry Potter' author J.K. Rowling has also announced that she'd be creating a series of spin-off films that would serve as extensions of Hogwarts. The first film will be entitled 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' which refers to the book Hogwarts students use in class. Radcliffe, on the other hand, expressed his excitement for the project: "I'm sure they're going to have a great time. I'm sure a lot of people will be really excited. I, needless to say, won't be involved. I don't know if any of us (the original Potter cast) will be. I know nothing about it."

'Young Doctor's Notebook' will debut on October 2.
