Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Moto X Developer Edition Now Available, Comes With Unlocked Bootloader

A lot of Android phone users have been wanting to get their hands on top-notch upcoming Android phones 2013 such as the Motorola's Moto X Developer Edition. And now it's officially available via the manufacturer's website.

Beginning yesterday, Motorola's developer version of its relatively successful smartphone is available for Verizon network in two colors - black and woven white for $649.99. It looks exactly the same as the manufacturer's original Moto X, except the back part where 'Developer Edition' is printed right below the Verizon logo.

The smartphone will pack the same specifications as its predecessor with a 4.7-in AMOLED display with 720p resolution, a 2,200mAh battery, a 10MP primary snapper and a 2MP front cam, 32GB of internal memory and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

While there are also upcoming versions of the phone for both AT&T and T-Mobile, we have yet received word when exactly they will be available for purchase.

The Developer Edition of the Moto X provides usesrs with an unlockable bootloader which is perfect for people who often change firmware, ROMs, and even install and uninstall certain apps -  most of which they would not be able to do in most Android-powered devices.

While there are ways to unlock these phones, it will often void that phone's warranty.
