4J Studios has revealed that the development of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition TU13 should be completed by the end of this week and is awaiting certification testing from Microsoft.

The developer also announced that the title update will serve to eliminate bugs and glitches that were present in TU12 and won't take as long to release.

4J Studios made the clarification as part of a fan response. "We're finishing up on TU13 (bug fix update) this week. Then it just needs to go through testing."

4J Studios has released the TU12 update for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, but some gamers awaiting the release of TU13 are wondering if bug fixes and increased cart speed will be the only new modifications.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition's TU12 update made headlines for the amount of bugs and glitches that were discovered by gamers around the world.

During an exchange through Twitter on Sept. 9, a fan asked the studio if there was a way to increase rail speed without causing the video game to lag, Examiner.com reports.

"We'll be changing the minecart speeds to twice the current speed in TU13. MOAR Rollercoasters!" 4J Studios revealed.
