In the middle of her marital woes, reality actress Khloe Kardashian still chooses not to speak publicly about her feelings. Nonetheless, fans can attest that the Armenian actress is using her social networking sites to share what she's feeling in a subtle manner.

On Wednesday, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star posted a photo on Instagram of a young woman wearing a carnival mask. While the photo does not seem to be disturbing, the caption that comes with makes people wonder whether the actress is indeed struggling now that a slew of allegations have been linked with her husband, Lamar Odom.

The caption says, "She smiles to mask the pain in her heart. She laughs to conceal the tears in her eyes."

Few days before posting the photo, the 29-year-old actress similarly posed bravely for a photo while having a pampered session. "Love yourself for a lifetime rather than a moment. Glam squad shot out @jenatkinhair @robscheppy," she tweeted alongside a close-up photo of her fresh face.

Despite rumors about Odom's infidelity and substance addiction, Kardashian is reportedly trying to remain strong while hoping to save something from her troubled marriage. "Khloe's entire self-worth and identity is wrapped up in her marriage and relationship to Lamar. Remember, four years ago, before Khloe married Lamar, she was just sort of fledgling. Kourtney was on her way to hving her first baby, and Kim was dating Reggie Bush," a source told Radar Online.

The source also described the changes in Kardashian's life after the marriage: "So when she met and married Lamar, it was a huge change for her. It was a chance for Khloe to distance herself from the Kardashian name. All of a sudden, Khloe was getting tons of attention from the media, and she was very popular with Lamar's teammate' wives. She had this huge mansion, a wardrobe to die for, and the man of her dreams. It was everything her other two sisters didn't have."

This makes fans speculate whether Kardashian does not want to give up on her marriage because of the perks that came with it. While the actress is currently spending time apart from her husband, insiders say that she finally called Odom last weekend to check about his condition.
