In her upcoming comedy-drama flick 'Thanks for Sharing', 40-year-old Gwyneth Paltrow shows her non-judgmental side by playing the role of a nymphomaniac's girlfriend. She will be starring with Mark Ruffalo.

Her unusual role has similarly given her a new perspective about the existence of sex addiction. "The short answer is yes. We're all kind of half-good and half-bad. It's all a gray area. For me, it's very interesting to see people who are in the struggle to be better versions of themselves," said Paltrow.

While Ruffalo's wife will not watch the film, the 'Iron Man' actress said that her husband, Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin, would not have problems because of his open-mindedness. The 'Shakespeare in Love' star similarly talked about her decade-old marriage:  "It's not easy to be married for 10 years and we definitely have big ups and downs. We laugh it out. So far we're sticking it out."

The mother of two also makes it a point to film just one movie each year to have more time for her family. When not filming, she posts entries on her lifestyle blog, GOOP. Since publicizing her strong opinions about food, Paltrow had her share of detractors. Such detractors think that she is unreasonably austere for not allowing her children to eat particular types of food.

Nonetheless, the actress has denied such claims and chooses not to be affected by negativity. She has recently launched a fashion line on her blog after collaborating with designer Stella McCartney.

 "Thanks for Sharing" officially airs on Friday.
