Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) from 'The Vampire Diaries' is another television drama character who has gained followers because of her exceptional fashion style. As opposed to Jess Day of 'New Girl's' perky and ultra-feminine outfits, Elena opts for comfortable clothing since she's always dealing with supernatural entities.

Nonetheless, this does not make her less stylish. Natural make-up, denim jeans, sneakers, tanks, shirts, and boots - these are undoubtedly Elena's signature pieces for the past four seasons of the vampire flick.

Elena is oftentimes seen wearing flattering leather bomber jackets with deep-colored tank tops underneath. She pairs her get-up with sneakers for a casual yet polished appeal.

Deep tones like purple, blue, and green similarly complement Elena's olive skin.  When she's not wearing sneakers, she never fails to bring out her boots.
