Kingdom Hearts 3 News: Release Date Version Takes Advantage Of Next-Generation Console Capabilities? Game Rumored To Include FlowMotion

Square Enix has not announced an official release date for Kingdom Hearts 3, but some are saying the game might include FlowMotion capabilities on next-generation consoles.

"Square Enix could take full advantage of the next gen consoles and give gamers an open expansive Disney world which would be perfect for FlowMotion. We could also fill up the expansive world with Disney characters that we could interact with," SidTech.com writes.

"With Dream Drop Distance came FlowMotion and this was very interesting for getting around worlds. The issue though was that some of the older levels were cramped and this system worked best with open regions. It retained some of the platforming elements and this brought about issues with control."

Square Enix has released high-resolution images of gameplay from Kingdom Hearts 3 and reveals that Sora's character appears to look slightly older compared to appearances in previous titles within the series, Examiner.com reports.

Sora is the main character of the series and Donald and Goofy, who are from Disney, has been aiding Sora in his quests, Examiner.com also reports.

It is rumored that Square Enix might be displaying new images for the game at this year's Tokyo Game Show.

Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that there are delays with the Final Word list and that it might take years for the game to fully develop.

But the developer also revealed that the game will conclude the Dark Seeker saga and that characters and locations included in the final installment are still unclear.

Last week, the website also reported that producer Shinji Hashimoto confirmed the lack of production on the game due to the focus on the development of Final Fantasy XV.
