LuAnn de Lesseps from “Real Housewives of New York City” broke up with Jacques Azoulay, her younger boyfriend After about three years of dating.

A rep for LuAnn de Lesseps, 48, confirmed to Us Weekly that The Countess LuAnn de Lesseps broke up with her boyfriend Jacques Azoulay, 38.

LuAnn de Lesseps’ rep told Us Weekly, "They are at different points in their life now and have mutually agreed it is best. LuAnn is upset, but it's amicable and they remain friends. Jacques has been a wonderful part of her life."

LuAnn de Lesseps’ costar on “Real Housewives of New York City,” Kelly Bensimon confirmed to Us Weekly that "I love both LuAnn and Jacques and feel for them during this difficult time."

De Lesseps is already mom to two teenage children, Victoria and Noel, with her ex-husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps. LuAnn De Lesseps got the title of Countess from her marriage to the French nobleman. LuAnn De Lesseps and Count Alexandre got divorced in 2009 after 16 years of marriage. LuAnn De Lesseps continues to use her royal title.

Countess LuAnn De Lesseps and wine entrepreneur Jacques Azoulay have been dating since 2010. LuAnn De Lesseps and Jacques Azoulay started floating the idea of starting a family together on “Real Housewives of New York City’s” fifth season. The Real Housewives episode aired in summer 2012.

On “Real Housewives of New York City” LuAnn De Lesseps admitted "My chances at this point in my life of getting pregnant are not good and I know it's not going to be easy. It's definitely not like the first time I had children. I think Fertile Myrtle has taken a little wander into the pasture."

A year after her divorce, LuAnn De Lesseps told UsWeekly "It's about the intention behind the actions. It's about showing the other person that you really care and are thinking of them. It's about making someone feel special."
