LG G Pad 8.3 Review: New Android Device Can Compete Well On Specs Against iPad Mini, Nexus 7.2 & Galaxy Tab 3 8.0

LG G Pad 8.3 is an able competitor the other tablets in the market. Samsung has reinveted its new Android-powered that could solidly go against the giants in the smaller tablets niche. According to Trusted Reviews, LG G Pad 8.3 is a formidable competitor to the iPad Mini, Nexus 7 II and the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 from Samsung.

The South Korean tech giant went back to the lab and has come out with a remodeled LG G Pad 8.3 and LG G2 that are sure to shake the former market giants from their sleep.

As per design, Trusted Reviews compares the LG G Pad 8.3 as the gigantic version of the LG G2. The body will pretty much have the same plastic and curved edges but it will still look much better than the Galaxy Tab range. The bezel has been thickened at the top and bottom while the sides have been narrowed down to make the screen conspicuous.

According to Trusted Reviews, consumers will have a chance to get it in an elegant black and white with an aluminum back-panel. The tablet comes in at an impressive 8.3mm thickness that feels good in the hands. Despite not being as slender as the Apple iPad Mini, it wins on the weight at 338g.

LG G Pad 8.3 will run Android 4.2.2 making sure that LG’s UX interface sets it apart with ease of navigability just like, if not better than most Android Jelly Bean Tablets. The ‘Slide Aside’ multitasking feature will allow users to easily and seamlessly shift between apps by swiping the screen with 3 fingers. Albeit the fact that it takes some getting used to, it is a game-changer reports Trusted Reviews.

Last but not least, LG smacks us with the Q pair. This uses Bluetooth to sync a G2 smartphone with the G pad so that you can transfer or see notes literally immediately when they appear on your tablet or phone.

All this is made possible by the Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage on the G-pad 8.3. This clocks in at 1.7GHz which is what reviewers and consumers expect today.

The screen is another feature to behold claims Trusted Reviews. Users can enjoy 1920 by 1200 FHD IPS displays that boast a 273 pixels-per-inch. Everything from the Full HD Video to the viewing angles is crème-de-la-crème.
