Adding to the latest news on Lady Gaga's new 2013 album "ARTPOP," EDM pro Zedd said collaborating with Mother Monster on her current work was a battle.

However, that is not necessarily a bad thing.

"It's like a positive fight," said Zedd about his team up with Lady Gaga on "ARTPOP" backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Unlike Gaga, other artists that collaborate with Zedd barely critique his work. The change was refreshing to the EDM professional.

"It was very interesting to have someone say, 'I think we should change this and that,' because I usually don't get that," said Zedd to Billboard. "So it's like a positive fight -- you try to make the best for a song, and … you learn to compromise and find new ways, and I think that ultimately the songs get to a point that I would never be able to get to myself."

Zedd is known for his recent single "Stay The Night" featuring Paramore's Hayley Williams, and his smash hit "Clarity" featuring Foxes.

Today, he is releasing a new version of the "Clarity" album entitled "Clarity - Deluxe Edition." This remake will include "Stay The Night" because Zedd was so eager to release the single due to the collaboration with Williams being so well received.

"I love Hayley and I love Paramore," said Zedd, "and when I had the chance to work with her, that was the right decision.
