Crayon Pop Used To Be Street Performers?

On the September 28th broadcast of MBC's 'Human Documentary', Crayon Pop spoke about their time on the streets. This isn't meant to make them seem homeless, but they did go through a period in their career where they would perform on the streets in bright training suits, battling the cold weather and trying to get their name out there are much as they can.

"Our members were so cold that our hands and faces became red. Other groups get to practice in the practice room so we thought a lot about why we had to go around outdoors shaking during the winter." Said member Ellin. Soyul was practically brought to tears as she recalled all of the tough times, stating, "Because there were many who didn't recognize us, we were a bit sad as we would hold up signs that read, 'We are singers. We're a girl group. We're Crayon Pop. We will take photos with you.' That is why I cried with my unnis before holding up the signs."

The CEO of their agency couldn't be more sympathetic of the girls. He wanted so much to express how sorry her was. "I felt really sorry to their parents for making their children perform guerrilla concerts on really cold days and seeing them shivering in the cold on the street. I thought to myself that I have to help them succeed no matter what."
