'Radio Star' Jung Woo Sung & Won Bin, Even Their Hearts Are Beautiful

Jung Woo Sung lends tens of thousands of dollars, and Won Bin bones fish and gives it to a fellow actor.

On the October 2nd episode of MBC's entertainment program "Golden Fishery - Radio Star," handsome actors Jung Woo Sung and Won Bin were the center of attention in the midst of heartwarming stories.

This "tenacity" special of "Radio Star" featured guests such as Kim Hae Sook, Kim Jung Tae, Kim Sung Oh, and Lee Shi Un. These 4 actors who don't usually appear on entertainment programs showed off their hidden wit in the conversations, and captivated the viewers.

The highlight of the show was the stories about Jung Woo Sung and Won Bin, who didn't even appear on the show. Actor Kim Jung Tae shared the behind story of working together with Jung Woo Sung on "Mutt Boy," and Kim Sung Oh shared his story about Won Bin working together on the set of "The Man from Nowhere."

Kim Jung Tae shared how he borrowed a large sum of money from Jung Woo Sung and was able to avoid a big crisis. Kim Sung Oh commented that he almost mistook the "very kind Won Bin" as a homosexual. These two both agreed that these handsome actors have very handsome hearts as well.

Kim Jung Tae said he wasn't very close to Jung Woo Sung while filming "Mutt Boy," yet he still asked to borrow some money. He said, "At the time, the landlord said he was going to raise my rent, and that I had one week to pay it all. If I didn't pay, I was going to get kicked out of my house. I didn't know anyone in Seoul at the time, so I was put in a difficult situation. I was talking to Jung Woo Sung's manager and the situation came up, and he told me I should talk to Jung Woo Sung directly."

Kim Jung Tae continued, "It was difficult to make the phone call because money is a heavy subject. I didn't have the courage, so I dialed the number, went for a walk at Namsan, then finally called Jung Woo Sung. He said, 'You're going to give me time to think this over, right?' and called me back in 2 days to let me borrow several tens of thousands of dollars. If Jung Woo Sung didn't help me out at the time, then I would've had a very difficult time. I'm so grateful to him. Jung Woo Sung's heart is so kind."

Kim Sung Oh told the story of how he ate with Won Bin while filming "The Man from Nowhere." He said, "We didn't know each other very well, but all of a sudden he surprised me when he placed fried egg on top of my rice. It was really moving."

Kim Sung Oh continued, "It was okay up until the fried egg, but there was more. At the time we were eating, there were only two roasted yellow corbinas. Won Bin took the meatiest part, boned the fish, and put it on top of my plate. At first I thought, 'Wow he's a great person,' but when he gave me the fish I wondered, 'Is he a little weird?'" Kim Sung Oh's story elicited laughter.

He said, "Later we worked out the misunderstanding. It's just because Won Bin is such a warm-hearted person. If I were a woman, I'd definitely want to marry Won Bin."

Despite not actually having appeared on the show, Jung Woo Sung and Won Bin captivated the audience because of not just their good looks, but their good heart as well.
