"New Girl" season 3, episode 4 spoilers: Schmidt (Max Greenfield) will try to break up Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel), by suggesting Jess try out "The Captain" sex move on Nick for their one month anniversary. Will it work?

According to Unreality TV, the sex life of Nick and Jess goes through a lull as their one month anniversary approaches. Jess thinks that maybe she should spice up their sex life. Schmidt, always too eager to help, gives her a few pointers - the only thing is, Schmidt has another motive: he wants Nick and Jess to break up.

This probably has something to do with what happened in episode 3 of "New Girl" season 3. Spoiler alert: Schmidt is single, and lost both of his girlfriends, meaning he probably isn't too pleased living with a happy couple.

According to Unreality TV, Schmidt tells Winston: "I shouldn't have to be faced with their stupid happy relationship everywhere I look. This is going to stop Winston, and I'm going to stop it.

"Every couple has a weakness. Kate and Will? I could break them up with one email. Oh look at that, the Royal baby now living with slutty aunt Pippa."

Enstarz reports that Schmidt tricks Jess and tells her that Nick loves a sex move called "The Captain."

"Jess gets some interesting advice on how to spice things up in the bedroom with Nick," Hannah Simone, who plays Cece, said in a teaser for episode 4.

Based on the teaser video, we're guessing Nick isn't a fan of "The Captain."

Unreality TV reports that in the episode, Jess tries other tactics, like "read the Indian take-away menu to him, reverse psychology, dance and dress up as papa smurf...[and] punches him in the face."

Despite the awkwardness, it sounds like Nick and Jess get through the rough patch.

"They're really strong, they are going through the bumps that happen in a relationship," Johnson said. "They're communicating like adult human beings."

"Whereas Schmidt and Nick's relationship, hopefully keeping his greasy fingers out of the action but you know, he is a slippery dude," he continued.
