Ranbir Kapoor 2013: New Movie Of Bollywood Hunk ‘Besharam’ Fails To Impress, No Magic For Viewers

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release for 2013 failed to have the same impression from his previous box office offerings, according to a post by Zeenews.India.com.

Although the young Kapoor tried to be more than just another teen heartthrob in the Bollywood flick, he actually seems to have slumped in that area. According to Zeenews.India.com, watching Ranbir is not something that a viewer can expect an all out “Besharam comedy”, but smart assery is all that can be expected if all of its promos are projecting such. It’s claimed that the good performances and humor of the Kapoor clan aren’t enough to suffice the need for the entire crew to provide the expected magic by the viewers.

And the moment when viewers were about to enjoy the sequences of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor that it has to be cut short due to insufficient screen time, thus, is considered as inconsistent and insufficient spattering of humor. While it must be that Abhinav focused on a fantastical plot line in the pursuit of having all three of them accommodated and sharing the screen space, he failed right there. If he was able to get it completed, it could have turned out to be a blockbuster and compelling enough for screening.

The plot of the story, filled with predictable storylines, utilizing every kind of stereotypes and atypical of masala flicks, was focused on Babli (Ranbir), a good hearted orphan who grew up as a car thief and eventually fell in love with Tara Sharma (Pallavi Sharda) with the character of Rishi and Neetu as slightly curropt cop couple (Chulbul nad Bulbul). There as well was a noted confusion as to calling Babli as Besharam since in accord to Indian movie heroes, Babli was quite a softy, giving flowers. Aside from that is the scene where Ranbir is shown to have pulled out socks from his pants –thing that he never did.

There however is a notable entertainment featured by the two fantastic Kapoors –Rishi and Neetu. Since their reputation on screen in the 70s, they were able to draw every viewer’s attention through the chemistry that they have working together. Watching their tandem is like watching an old endearing couple who managed to keep their love with each other through their romance filled with humor.

Considering the movie’s music, it is obviously enjoyable. From the collection of Lalit Pandit (famed Jatin-Lalit duo in the 90s); Love ki Ghanti from the 60s and some of the other tracks.

Taking the movie as a whole however is somewhat an alarming notification that must be sent to the filmmaker in having them reminded that they have never properly considered Ranbir’s screen prowess. It could’ve be more favorable for him to be an actor than being a masala entertainer –his past movies can prove and justify this claim.
