‘Moto Maker’ On Verizon: Online Customization Tool For Motorola’s Flagship Smartphone, Moto X, Arriving On November 11 To The Carrier

Moto Maker on Verizon is finally happening.

When the flagship smartphone of Motorola, the Moto X, was launched, AT&T flaunted that it would be the sole carrier in United States to offer the Moto Maker customization tool to its customers. Meanwhile, Verizon promised its subscribers that Moto Maker would be available to them at some time later this year.

Right now, it seems that Moto Maker on Verizon already have an official release date, as recent reports are suggesting that the online tool will arrive on the carrier on November 11. This rumor about Moto X coming to Verizon next month came from a tweet by @evleaks, who has a record of leaking information about upcoming mobile products.

Right now, Verizon customers can only buy the Moto X in black and white models while the website for the Moto Maker offers opportunity for the users to choose from a huge array of colors for the flagship smartphone. Moreover, users of Moto X can also customize the colors for the sound buttons, the backplate, and the headphone jack.

PhoneDog describes Moto Maker as "one of the tentpole features of Motorola's flagship Moto X smartphone, allowing customers to customize the colors of the front and rear panels, volume and power buttons and camera ring." Furthermore, it reads, "Other customization options include the ability to add a power on greeting and pack in some color-matched headphones."

Meanwhile, aside from AT&T and the emerging rumors about Moto Maker arriving to Verizon, it is still not clear when other phone service providers will get access to the customization tool. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and Republic Wireless are currently offering Moto X with subscription plans.
