Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have named their baby boy Maceo-Robert Martinez.

Halle Berry Olivier Martinez consider their baby boy as a Gift from God and have named him Maceo - Robert Martinez.

The name Maceo has Spanish roots and it means "Gift of God." Maceo is Martinez's nod to his Spanish roots while they middle annexed the middle name Robert as a nod to Martinez's father Robert Martinez.

Halle Berry gave birth to her second kid, her first with French Actor Martinez, on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

Speaking about the nationality of his son Maceo Robert Martinez, Olivier Martinez told the People magazine in June this year, "My son will remain an American, but I will remain French. I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there-but I'm still a foreigner. My son will be an American."

Halle Berry has a daughter with her former long time beau Gabriel Aubry. They had named her Nahala, an Arabic word that means 'a drink or draught of water.'

Until yesterday, the new born baby's name seemed to be a closely guarded secret.

The reps of both Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez refused to comment on the paparazzi approaches for the baby boy's name.

The pictures of the new born have still not been released by his parents or any of the over excited relatives.

 In case of Heather Morri's baby Elijah, the pictures of the new born went viral even before the happy parents named the kid.
