The man responsible for spreading false rumors about singer and actress IU has agreed to perform 200 hours of community service in exchange for his charges being dropped.

The remarks concerned a photo accidentally posted by IU in November of 2012. In the photo of herself and Super Junior's Eunhyk, it looked as if they were sitting on a bed together.

When rumors began to spread that the two were actually in the same bed, the actress clarified that they were merely good friends and sitting on a couch.

He was sick and she was taking care of him. Her mother was with them. But despite her explanation, the rumors did not stop.
