‘The Conjuring’ Director Will Produce Horror Movie Titled ‘Demonic;’ James Wan Presents A Film Based On A Story He Wrote

James Wan has declared that he has had enough of horror. His fans haven't though. So he returns, albeit in a different function.

Wan directed two horror movies in the past three months. "The Conjuring" has become a monster hit. "Insidious Chapter 2" had mixed reviews but still proved to be a worthy successor to "Insidious" the breakthrough film of 2011.

Desde Hollywood was first to report that it has obtained an official synopsis of a movie credited to James Wan as a producer. The complete details, from Shock Till You Drop:

" The story centers on the aftermath of a horrific massacre: five college students, brutally murdered inside a decrepit, abandoned home. Fresh on the scene, detective Mark Lewis and the police department's psychologist, Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Maria Bello), question one of the few survivors who explains they were amateur ghost-hunters, seeking out paranormal phenomenon at the abandoned house, believed to be haunted. But what started out as a harmless activity turned into something truly terrifying, and the suspect claims the responsibility doesn't lie with any of the inhabitants, but with the house itself."

Further details from DesdeHollywood: "'Demonic' was directed by Will Canon (who shares writing credits for the screenplay with Doug Simon and Max La Bella) and has in its cast talents like Maria Bello, Frank Grillo, Cody Horn, Scott Mechlowicz, Aaron Yoo, Megan Park and Dustin Milligan. There is no release date yet."

The next project directorial project for James Wan is "Fast and Furious 7" which has already started filming.
