"StarbucksDrakeHands" Guy Brody Ryan Curtis To Meet Model He Wooed, Piper Kennedy [VIDEO]

A barista who sent a model a video that turned into a viral meme will get to meet the model.

Brody Ryan Curtis, the man in the "StarbucksDrakeHands" who created the viral video that spawned a thousand Instagram/Vine spinoffs, will get to meet Piper Kennedy, the model he was trying to woo.

Kennedy said to the Daily Mail on Tuesday that she will meet with him at his work, a Los Angeles-area coffee shop where he works.

Curtis, 30, said he was just trying to be "cute and genuine" when he sent Kennedy the video. Now, however, he's been imitated en masse, becoming an Internet meme.

Curtis saw model Piper Kennedy at a Los Angeles-area Starbucks and asked for her number. She gave it to him; he later sent it to her friend, who posted it on his Instagram account.

The video shows Ryan looking into the camera with a serious face before he cracks a smile and puts his hand over his face, blushing. Drake's song "On, We're Going Home" is playing in the background.

"We do need to see each other in person. There could be a funny friendship because it was such a unique way to meet somebody," she said.

Ryan sent the video to Kennedy's friend Ben Roc, who posted it onInstagram. "A friend met this guy at a coffee shop. He got her number and sent her this. Nice work bud," he wrote.

"I was just stunned. I was in tears of laughter. I couldn't believe it," Kennedy said of the video. "I've never been sent anything like that before."

The Internet, of course, took over, with scores of people imitating the video.
