OS X Mavericks Release Date Set For October 22, During Apple iPad Event; Upgraded Macbook Pro Also Arriving

Fresh rumors are now suggesting that the OS X Mavericks release date is set two weeks from now.

As posted on Christian Today, OS X Mavericks release date may be slated for October 22, during the iPad-centric event to be hosted by Apple. These recent development about OS X Mavericks release date started from a post on AllThingsD which reported about Apple preparing for its media even on the said date.

As posted, Apple will be holding an invitation-only event on the 22nd of the month, where it will launch its new products such as the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2, together with new Haswell-packed Macbook Pro and MacBook Pro with Retina Display running with the latest operating sytem, the OS X Mavericks release date.


The official OS X Mavericks release date proved to be more imminent especially after the tech titan launched the GM version last week. The final version released to developers, which is the 10.9 Golden Master version was released, particularly, on October 3. It is the last version for the developers before releasing the OS X Mavericks to consumers most likely before the end of the month.

If the upcoming Mac operating system will be at Apple's media happening on October 22, then, most probably the OS X Mavericks release to the public will happen shortly after the event.

OS X Mavericks was first unveiled during the WWDC event of Apple that happened June 2013. Since it was introduced, Apple was able to released 8 Developer Preview of the OS X Mavericks. Some of the new features to experience once OS X Mavericks was released are new Map app, iBooks, enhanced Safari, multiple displays, new calendar look, iCloud Keychain and more.  

As the alleged OS X Mavericks release date on October 22 nears, Apple fans can expect more news and rumors about the software's arrival in the following days.
