It's been over a month since Sony announced its Xperia Z1 tablet during the IFA event in Berlin, and with the impending Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date, it seems the Japanese manufacturer wants to roll out the update right away. 

In a report by GSM Arena, Androidsas hinted that Sony may already be working on an Android 4.4 update that it will roll out to its Xperia Z1 units on November 7. Afterwards, the update would also be implemented on other Sony devices, particularly those released this year. 

Since the Android 4.4's announcement last month, little information has been provided for both consumers and analysts regarding the new look. Sure, there have been a number of leaked screencaps, but those were allegedly taken in a Nexus 4 device. Once we see KitKat running on a Nexus 5, that's when we'll see how it truly performs. 

The Nexus 5 release date is expected to arrive by the end of the month, together with the official launch of Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
