With just under a week until Google officially launches its Android 4.4 Kit Kat update, fans will surely look forward to the release of the new Nexus 5 phone as well. Now, its case-maker SPIGEN that has provided yet another glimpse at the new smartphone. 

From what we can see from the image, it will have a large sensor. Recent leaked specifications claim that the Nexus 5 will boast an 8MP primary shooter with optical image stabilization. 

At the other part of the image there is a front-facing Nexus 5 which dons an old wallpaper from Android 4.2 version, says GSM Arena in a report. 

However, if you look at the image closely, you may notice a 'champagne' gold edge to the phone. GSM Arena also mentioned that the tagline 'BE READY' also has the same hue of gold. 

In case Google and LG decide to give the Nexus 5 a gold color, it would certainly surprise no one. Since Apple announced its iPhone 5s with a gold option, other companies have also manufactured their own golden variations. 

Previously, SPIGEN has pointed to October 30th as the release date of the Nexus 5, though you may still take it with a pinch of salt.
