The most popular K-Pop group has been named Big Bang. Beast, SNSD, SHINee and etc followed after Big Bang.

A survey of college students was conducted in Italy, Hungary, Germany, France and UK. The results showed that K-Pop had a very high popularity rate throughout Europe.

The results are shown by nation. Of the 5 nations, Big Bang had the most popularity in UK, taking its number one spot. SNSD had the highest rating in France, TVXQ in Germany, Rain in Italy and Beast in Hungary. Many other K-pop artists/groups were also named in the survey which showed that many Europeans had a wide background knowledge of the K-Pop culture and its artists. 

A Korean movie that was the most well known in Europe was "Old Boy." The movie "Old Boy" came out as number one in all the countries except Italy. "Old Boy" has won an award at the Cannes which is probably a reason for its popularity.

College students of Europe named K-Pop Singers, Seoul, War, SamSung and KimChi as top words that are related to Korea.

In Italy, 1st place: Rain (6.1), 2nd: Super Junior (6.1), 3rd: BoA (4.1), 4th: f(x) (2.0), 5th: Jang Geun Suk (2.0), 6th: Hwee Sung (2.0), 7th: Lee HyoRi (2.0)

In Hungary, 1st place: Beast (12.1), 2nd: Big Bang (10.8), 3rd: SHINee (5.1), 4th: SNSD (4.5), 5th: 2PM (3.2), 6th: UKiss (2.5), 7th: Super Junior (2.5), Rain (1.9)
