But the man who protects the wall on "Game of Thrones" is up against fellow British actor Jack O'Connell from the movie "Skins" and the American Miles Teller from "The Spectacular Now" who are also up for the part.

The new incarnation of Marvel's "Fantastic Four" is set to begin shooting early next year.
