Miley Cyrus's Channel breaks YouTube's record on most number of views with the release of 'Wrecking Ball' last September.

The report from Tubefilter says the music video 'Wrecking Ball' by Miley Cyrus had a record breaking two hundred seventy million views last month in September.

The views raked in by Miley Cyrus then snags the title of having most number of views from previous record holder Felix Arid Ulf Kjellberg's PewDiePie channal with only viewers of two hundred fifteen million also last September.

Still, PewDiePie's channel trumps Miley's by more than fifty four and a half million. PewDiePie has almost fourteen million subscribers a far league ahead from nearly three million for Miley's Channel.

The 'Wrecking Ball' number of viewers did not come in as a surprise. Miley Cyrus has been hard at work promoting her album for the past few months. The Music category is also among the top catergories in YouTube. The other top channels under the music category of the website were Katy Perry's channel with one hundred sixty two million subscribers and Avicii's one hundred five million.

We also have to account that most social media users are within the age range of Miley Cyrus's fan base.
