Play Store Update: Google's Upcoming Update Lets Slate Users See Tablet-Optimized Apps Right Away

If you own an Android tablet, you may also be having problems searching for apps and games which are optimized for your device. Your problem will soon be resolved in an upcoming Play Store update.

In a report by Android Authority, Google will have a Play Store update on November 21st where they will enable table users to view the 'designed for tablets' section immediately when they open the app.

This just means it would be easier for them to locate applications and games which were developed with a tablet in mind.

On the other hand, apps which do not meet Google's criteria for being a 'tablet app' will be placed under the category 'designed for phones' which is completely understandable.

At last, Google is acknowledging the fact that its revenue does not only come from smartphones but also tablets.

We'll see what other features the Play Store will have once the update has rolled out.
