Fast and Furious 7 is on a roll, and the movie's cast and crew are in high gear as they work to finish filming in time for the movie's July 11, 2014 release date - just 14 months after Fast and Furious was released.  And if this instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise is to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors, then movie-goers can expect nothing less than fast cars, skidding tires, explosions, and lots of adrenaline-pumping action. 

Director James Wan had posted several updates and photos taken on the set, giving fans a glimpse of what they can look forward to in the upcoming movie.  This includes a shot of a luxury sports car which the Insidious director accompanied with the caption, "My villain drives a hot set of wheels."    

 The Aston Martin, which looks like an earlier model of the DB9 coupe with custom front grilles, will presumably be driven by Jason Statham who plays antagonist Ian Shaw in the movie.   

And of course, it won't be the only vehicle in the movie.  Wan said of this photo, "This isn't local traffic caused by our filming presence... this our entire fleet of production vehicles & extras just for one day of street-filming! #bigmovie#Fast7." 

And fans of the Fast and Furious franchise can only wonder what this enormous blue screen will be used for.  Wan commented, "This is the biggest blue-screen set I've ever walked onto. Thought I was walking into IKEA. (pic shows a quarter of the set only) #Fast7."   

Vin Diesel, a producer of Fast and Furious 7 who also plays protagonist Dominic Toretto, likewise shared some photos, including an on-set shot with Kurt Russel.  He said, "Kurt Russell, such an honor to work with... P.s. One from set..."

 Fast and Furious also stars Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Lucas Black, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Ali Fazal, and Michelle Rodriguez.
