Drake "Nothing Was The Same" Full Album Stream, Review: "Started From The Bottom", Now Topping Charts [LISTEN]

The new Drake album "Nothing Was The Same" (full stream below) includes hits like "Started from the Bottom".

Drake has been one of the most talked about rappers this year--and he's crossed over into a pop success. His previous album, Take Care, went gold in the first week--but this album takes it to new heights. e new Drake album, Nothing Was The Same, has been lauded by critics, and now you can check it out here.

The album has consistently been in the Billboard Top 100 since its release. "Rap must be changing cause I’m at the top and ain’t no one on top of me," Drake sings on the track Versace.

The album has been a journey, though--and a long time in the making.

“Sometimes when I try and think back through this journey it’s hard to pinpoint all these moments,” he said. “On past albums when I’ve been trying to tell the story, I’ve got there but maybe not got there all the way…. “This is my most clear, concise thoughts from now, and my best recollection of then,” Drake said of the album.

Drizzy opens the album with “Tuscan Leather,” which discusses how far he's come as an artist and a person. It also discusses his uneasy relationship with his noteriety. “This is nothing for the radio, but they’ll still play it though/Cause it’s that new Drizzy Drake, that’s just they way it go.”

Still, the track's not without it's boasts, in the typical hip-hop bravado. “I reached heights that Dwight Howard couldn’t reach, n****/Prince Akeem, they throw flowers at my feet, n****/I could go a hour on this beat, n****/I’m just as famous as my mentor/But that’s still the boss, don’t get sent for.”
Drake has been one of the most respected rappers this year after dropping chart-topping singles such as “Started From The Bottom,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “No New Friends” and “Versace.”

Still, Drake isn't only rapping-- he's said he doesn't ever plan on releasing a full "rap" record and aspires to be the next Marvin Gaye-- which probably accounts for his crossover sucess, in part.
